Quayside Ukes started off as Uke at the Duke in January 2011 in response to a request to run an evening jam. The Worthing jam known as Wukulele was our model and we remain close to our sister jam which is a Sunday lunchtime event. Many members attend both jams.
Quayside Ukes produces its own songbooks and invites members to submit
their favourites for inclusion, songs range from traditional to punk
classics, there are even a few originals.
The jam meets at “The Sussex Yacht Club”, 85/89 Brighton Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 6RF on the second Tuesday of each month 7.30pm till 9.30pm.
Occasional away fixtures are played in local pubs and festivals and many groups have formed out of the jam.
All abilities are welcome. Just come along, or if you want more information email firstname.lastname@example.org
